Tina Fey as Hieidi Diaz on Saturday Night Live

OK, really she was playing Sarah Palin. But things reminded me of Heidi for sure!

1) She wore red. OK, that was too easy.
2) She used the term 'MILF'. Honestly I have never heard that term except in the context of Heidi referring to herself as one.
3) She berated 'Hillary' for not making it because she didn't 'want it enough'. Like Heidi Diaz did to the dieters on her website who couldn't stick to her starvation plan to get skinny like red-dress Kimmer.

All in all an amusing skit, though the way it reminded me of Kimmer was unnerving. Maybe I need a vacation!

Remembering September 11, 2001

Like all of you, I remember where I was that day. What I was doing when my husband called me at work. How hard it was to find out what was going on. How shocking and hard to absorb it was. Disbelief that those great big strong buildings could fall straight down like that. Shock when there was yet another plane crash. Fear that there would be more. Fear for friends who worked in one of the towers and at the Pentagon. How hard it was to get away from the pain and sorrow of it all. On this day I pray for so many. I pray that those killed are in the strong arms of Jesus. I pray that the families and loved ones of the victims, and those injured, have found comfort and healing. I pray for wisdom for the world leaders that our children can live in a world that is safer than we live in today.
