A Little Exercise for National Eating Disorders Week

Bamagal pointed this out to me via her blog:

A little exercise for National Eating Disorders Awareness Week

Like many women, I can't remember a time when I wasn't trying to sort out what to eat, how much I should eat, how I can lose weight. I've lost my sense of what 'eating normally' should look like. Can you relate? I'd love to hear from you.

Do you have an eating disorder? Take the quiz MrsMenopausal posted today.

I wouldn't know "normal" eating if it walked up and bit me in the A**. After 30+ years of living with an eating disorder my brain doesn't know how else to function.

I can say this---except for the prescribed diet I'm on now---my disordered eating is actually much better. I no longer have to think about the food choices I make---they just come naturally. I do have to weigh and measure stuff---but even that has become old hat. I suppose that's as close to "normal" eating as I'm ever gonna get.
